Umar Haque, DMD
Dr. Umar Haque graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine and has completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Illinois and University of Chicago. He has been practicing for 20 years and is the author of the book Dental 101: The 101 Factors You Should Know Before Going to the Dentist.
Dr. Haque has taught at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. He has completed the Dawson Academy Curriculum and the Implant Seminars Continuum and Masters Series and has taken numerous courses with Misch, Garber, Salama, and Goldstein. He also achieved Fellowship, Mastership, and Diplomate status with the American Dental Implant Association and Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Haque is the past president of the Passion 4 Dentistry Study Club and a current member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Association, West Suburban Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
In his free time, Dr. Haque enjoys spending time with his wife, Siraj Haque (who is also our office manager), and his teenage son and daughter. He enjoys woodworking, 3-D printing, and several other hobbies. He is a Scoutmaster with Boy Scouts of America Troop 99 and dedicated the past 10 years to his service with the Scouts and many other local community organizations.
