How Much Are Dental Implants?

Dental Implants offer numerous advantages over traditional removable dentures. Some of these include permanent placement, improved stability, and the ability to eat and speak without fear of your replacement teeth shifting out of place. Unfortunately, dental insurance companies consider them a cosmetic enhancement without giving consideration to these and other benefits. That is why the majority of providers don’t offer coverage for dental implants. Because of this, most patients ask “How much are dental implants?” before they agree to choose this procedure instead of dentures or a bridge.

Dental Implant Costs Vary Considerably

Since every patient has different requirements and preferences when it comes to dental implants, it’s impossible to give one figure that would include all situations. In general, you should budget for the following costs if you decide to get dental implants to conceal one or more of your missing teeth:

  • $750 for a bone graft if we determine that you need one to place the implant
  • Between $1,000 and $2,000 to implant the titanium post into your jaw
  • $700 to attach the implant
  • $900 for the false tooth or crown

Keep in mind that these costs are only averages and the price you pay may be considerably more or less.

We Offer Several Payment Options

At Oak Brook Smiles, we do our best to make your care as affordable as possible since you need to pay for this procedure out of pocket. We are happy to offer the following payment options:

  • Cash or personal check
  • All major credit cards
  • Health Savings Accounts
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • Care Credit Account

You must apply and financially qualify for the last option listed above. Care Credit gives you the opportunity to make monthly payments for your dental implant procedure without tying up your credit line on existing accounts. Although the program operates independently of Oak Brook Smiles, we are happy to accept it.

Please contact our office to schedule an appointment for a consultation about dental implants at your earliest convenience. Dr. Haque will answer all of your questions about the procedure as well as discuss your payment options in more detail.
