Dental Implants offer numerous advantages over traditional removable dentures. Some of these include permanent placement, improved stability, and the ability to eat and speak without fear of your replacement teeth shifting out of place. Unfortunately, dental insurance companies consider them a cosmetic enhancement without giving consideration to these and other benefits. That is why the majority of providers don’t offer coverage for dental implants. Because of this, most patients ask “How much are dental implants?” before they agree to choose this procedure instead of dentures or a bridge.
Dental Implant Costs Vary Considerably
Since every patient has different requirements and preferences when it comes to dental implants, it’s impossible to give one figure that would include all situations. In general, you should budget for the following costs if you decide to get dental implants to conceal one or more of your missing teeth:
- $750 for a bone graft if we determine that you need one to place the implant
- Between $1,000 and $2,000 to implant the titanium post into your jaw
- $700 to attach the implant
- $900 for the false tooth or crown
Keep in mind that these costs are only averages and the price you pay may be considerably more or less.
